WFHS DECA is the 4th largest chapter in the world with over 1,000 student, alumni, and professional members in our chapter. DECA provides an opportunity for students to develop their business, marketing, and finance skills through competitions and real-world experiences.  West Forsyth DECA provides our members with the opportunity to use their leadership skills to engage in community service projects, learn about successful businesses, and develop the necessary skills and abilities to compete on a global business level.

DECA members plan, organize, and coordinate fun events like Powderpuff Football Tournament, Prom Fashion Show, Big Man on Campus, a Mr. West Forsyth High Event; and Tailgate Party.​  We serve the community by donating time and money to charities like Meals by Grace, Next Generation Focus, Family Promise, The Humane Society, and Special Olympics.  ​Our chapter has partnered with companies (like Google) giving the chapter access to executives and having them as guest speakers to educate our members.  Students participate in corporate tours and sports marketing related tours at the State Farm Arena and Mercedes Benz Stadium.

Students who join DECA have the opportunity to try out for our competition team.  Competing in DECA requires time, a passion for success, a dedication to learning about marketing and business, and a desire to develop exceptional presentation and communication skills.
